lyric annalis
Every one has good days and bad days. Thats why I chose this song GOOD DAYS BAD DAYS by Led Zeppelin. This song connects to me in so many ways, but I can only tell you about three. So lets begin shall we?
First I will connect this to my life. Well obviously everyone has good days and bad days but for me every second is a either a good time or bad time."I've tried to do all those things the best I can. No matter how I try,I find my way to the same old jam."That explains a whole lot in my life, like my problems. I always try to find the best way out of my problems. One time i was late for school in 4th grade. I was really late ( 15 mins ) and I got in a lot of trouble but I turned it around by staying after school for 15 mins and made it equal for my teacher.
Second I can relate it to a novel called Small Steps by Louis Sachar. It is about a teenager boy (16) coming back from camp green lake ( the novel holes) trying really hard to fix his life. His name is Theodore (He has been known by Armpit). He has had his share of bad times and he's been trying so hard to get some good times, but he always going down the wrong path and ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time. " Sixteen I fell in love with a girl as sweet as can be. Only a couple of days 'till she was rid of me. She swore that she was all mine and love me 'till the end." That was a quote from the song and it relates to noel by Theodore falling in love with a girl named Kiara She is a pop star trying to find her one true love.
Like I said in the beginning everyone has good times and bad times. This song also connects to everyone in our society. The whole song is explaining what people go through in life. For example When people think that they are in love, but they don't know for sure and it ends up with a fight or a breakup.
This song is a self explaining song meaning, right when you look at the title you would already have an idea on what it is about. This song made me think of what people have to go through. It is a common thing to have bad times. Don't worry everyone is equal ( having the same problems)

Bioagraphy of Led Zepplin
Zeppelin, Led
Laura M.
have you guys heard about a band named Led Zeppelin??? I have and they are one of the most accomplishing bands ever!!! So here is a bit about them.A song that builds from a folk-baroque acoustic setting to screaming heavy metal, “Stairway to Heaven,” fittingly became the best-known Led Zeppelin song. Led Zeppelin was unquestionably one of the most successful bands in rock history, with U.S. sales of more than100 million records. Page and Jones had first met, jammed together, and discussed forming a group when both were hired to back Donovan on his Hurdy Gurdy Man LP. Page had hoped to complete the group with drummer B.J. Wilson and singer Terry Reid. Neither were available, but Reid recommended Plant, drummer for his old Birmingham group, Band of Joy. The four first played together as the session group behind P.J. Proby on his Three Week Hero. In October 1968 they went on a tour of Scandinavia under the name the New Yardbirds. On their return to England they recorded their debut album in 30 hours. Adopting the name Led Zeppelin, they toured the U.S. in early 1969, opening for Vanilla Fudge. Their first album was released in February; within two months it had reached Billboard’s Top 10. Led Zeppelin II reached #1 two months after its release, and since then every album of new material has gone platinum, five of the group’s LPs have reached #1. After touring almost incessantly during its first two years together, Zeppelin began limiting its appearances to alternating years. The band’s 1973 U.S. tour broke box-office records throughout the country (many of which had been set by the Beatles), and by 1975 its immense ticket and album sales had made Led Zeppelin the most popular rock & roll group in the world. In 1974 the band established its own label, Swan Song. The label’s first release was Physical Graffiti ,the band’s first double-album set, which sold 4 million copies. On August 4, 1975, Plant and his family were seriously injured in a car crash while vacationing on the Greek island of Rhodes. As a result, the group toured even less frequently. That and speculation among fans that supernatural forces may have come into play also heightened the Zeppelin mystique. In 1976 Led Zeppelin released Presence, a 4-million seller.
They played in 1985 at Live Aid, and in May 1988 at the Atlantic Records 40th-anniversary celebration at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Zeppelin’s concert movie, The Song Remains the Same , is still a staple of midnight shows around the country, and Zeppelin tunes like “Stairway to Heaven,” “Kashmir,” “Communication Breakdown,” “Whole Lotta Love,” and “No Quarter” are still on classic-rock radio play lists. In 1990 a St. Petersburg, Florida, station kicked off its all-Zeppelin format by playing “Stairway to Heaven” for 24 hours straight.
And the band is still alive well the members are and the music. There music changed America.
